Lou Champoux-Roberts
High School Stage Manager | WA State Thespian Officer
With a passion for timing, organization, and teamwork, Lou has played a crucial role behind the curtain—calling cues, managing rehearsals, and ensuring every production runs smoothly from first rehearsal to final curtain call.
Known for their calm under pressure and love for all things theatrical, Lou has helped stage a wide range of productions, from classic plays to ambitious student-devised pieces. Their insights into the day-to-day life of a student stage manager offer a unique look at the leadership, communication, and coordination it takes to keep the show running.
We’re excited to welcome Lou to Curtains Up, where they'll share stories from backstage, tips for aspiring stage managers, and what it’s like to be the unsung hero of high school theater.
