ABOUT ME

I have a passion for the expressive artistry of drama and theatre arts. I also have a keen interest in the analytical world of business, economics, and mathematics. Whether solving complex equations, crafting strategies for entrepreneurial ventures, or commanding the stage with compelling performances, I aspire to bring a unique flair to every endeavor.

A Historical perspective on Drama is one such endeavor where I explore the impact of theatre arts on society and culture through the ages starting from ancient Greece to the Broadway productions of the present day. I have created a podcast and a blog that dives deep into the history and the business of performing arts and what the future holds with the advent of AI and other technological developments

E4: Theater in Ancient India

Drama Divinity and Dance

Join me as I unravel the intricacies of Sanskrit theater, rooted in ancient Indian spirituality and mythology, shaped the foundations of drama, dance, and music through timeless Kalidasa’s Shakuntalam. With its focus on emotion (Rasa) and rich storytelling, it has influenced Indian performing arts and cinema for over two millennia. Today, Sanskrit drama continues to inspire modern theater, dance, and film with its universal themes and expressive techniques.
