
Jerik Fernandez
MFA in Acting at the University of Washington’s School of Drama
Jerik Fernandez is a Seattle-based actor, sound designer, and storyteller currently pursuing his MFA in Acting at the University of Washington’s School of Drama. A graduate of both the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts and Cornish College of the Arts, Jerik brings a rich blend of classical training, contemporary practice, and lived experience to every stage he steps onto.
In Seattle’s theater community, Jerik has worked with companies including Seattle Repertory Theatre, where he served as Assistant Sound Designer on The Tempest, and Dacha Theatre, where his multidisciplinary artistry—spanning acting, music, and DJ culture—has been showcased. Known for his deeply collaborative approach, Jerik is a member of the Young Hot Thespian collective, a group committed to innovative, community-driven performance.
A first-generation Filipino-American, Jerik is passionate about expanding representation in the arts and creating meaningful pathways for future artists of color. His work as a teaching assistant at UW further reflects his dedication to mentorship, education, and artistic growth.
Whether performing, designing, or guiding a classroom, Jerik is a storyteller at heart—striving to build connection, celebrate identity, and bring audiences on a journey through sound, movement, and imagination.
